BMS Summer Reading 2018...
Summer Reading
We are excited to send our students off imagining lots of reading possibilities for themselves this summer. This letter includes our guidelines for summer reading at Blythewood Middle School and reading resources. The purpose of summer reading is to strengthen the behaviors and habits of lifelong reading.
We want our students to find enjoyment in reading by being able to read books of his/her choice. Encourage your student to read about his/her interests. Visit the public library and your local bookstore to start your summer reading.
Students, please keep a record of your reading on a reading log or notebook paper. Your reading log should include the date you read, the title & author of the book, and pages read. Have your parents sign your summer reading log.
Summer reading logs should be returned to school during the first week of school in August.

6th & 7th Grade Chromebook Collection is Monday...
Students and families please know Chromebooks are being collected soon. 8th grade students will turn in devices and chargers on Friday, June 1st and 6th and 7th Grade students will turn their devices in on Monday, June 4th.
Important Reminders:
Remove all stickers you added to your device. (Do not remove your name sticker or the Blue IT sticker.)
Turn in all chargers. Those who have a White Lenovo loaner device should be turning in 2 chargers due to different chargers.
Keep your Chromebook Case. You will use your case next year when you get your device back in August whether you return to BMS or go to another Richland Two school.
