Honor Roll Celebration

Blythewood Middle School held it's 1st inaugural Honor Roll parade on Friday, October 31.  The event kicked off with a brief ceremony attended by parents, faculty, staff, and special guests the Honorable Calvin "Chip" Jackson and Assistant Superintendent Keith Price.  During the ceremony, nineteen students that have demonstrated exemplary character/lifeskills were recognized individually by Mr. Price, Mr. Jackson and principal Mrs. Mazcyk.  This was followed by recognition of over 400 honor roll students by assistant principal Mr. Johnson.

The finale for the day's event was a parade in which The Honorable Calvin "Chip" Jackson and Assistant Superintendent Keith Price served as Grand Marshals.  Students took an honor walk through the school with family members by their side as celebratory music played over the loud speakers.  Peers, faculty and staff cheered them on from the sidelines.
