Round Top Elementary is collecting new or gently used athletic shoes

This project is being organized by our 2nd grade student Leaders.
We have learned that access to water is one of the biggest problems that humanity faces. 1 in 10 people on the planet do not have access to safe water. More people die every year from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation than from armed conflict.
Children are the most vulnerable.
Donated shoes will support water projects in communities around the world, providing safe drinking water to someone that needs it.
Our goal is 1,500 pairs of shoes.
Collection dates are Jan. 30- Feb. 24!
Shoes may be dropped off at Round Top, 449 Rimer Pond Rd, Blythewood from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, or contact Principal Jeaneen Tucker,
