We are pleased to announce that we will host Step Up to Sixth on Friday, October 30th for all students who have selected the hybrid option for Phase 2 and will return to school in person beginning on November 4th, 2020. This opportunity will allow students to experience a “trial run” prior to their official return beginning on Wednesday, November 4th. Students will be able to meet their teachers and classmates in person, have a tour of the school, and learn all about being a Blythewood Middle School Charger. Students remaining in elearning for Phase 2 will be able to "attend" virtually through Google Meet.
There will be two sessions: morning and afternoon. If your child’s last name ends in letters A-L, then s/he will attend the morning session from 8:00am – 10:00am. If your child’s last name ends in letters M-Z, then your child will attend the afternoon session from 12:30pm – 2:30pm. More information regarding drop-off/pick up times, bus transportation, and meals will be forthcoming once registration has closed and details have been finalized.
Please complete this form by October 22, at 11:59 p.m. for each 6th grade child that you have enrolled at BMS that will attend Step Up To 6th.
Schools will follow CDC and DHEC guidelines for safety precautions to help protect our students, faculty, and staff. Students will be with their homeroom for the duration of the session and are required to wear masks at all times. Please do not send your child to Step Up To Sixth if:
