Greetings Charger Families,
Summer conditioning for prospective football players will begin on August 1st. The conditioning is for students who are rising seventh and eighth graders interested in trying out for the 2022 Blythewood Middle School Football Team. The dates and times for summer conditioning are listed below as well as the dates and times for tryouts.
August 1st through August 5th 5:30pm-6:30pm
August 8th through August 12th 5:00pm-6:30pm
Tryouts August 16th through August 19th 4:00pm-6:00pm (Please note the change in the tryout date due to Charger Kickoff on August 15th)
Location: Blythewood Middle School Football Field
- The student athlete must have the following or they will NOT participate:
Richland 2 Athletic Packet (current physical from April 1st, 2022 to the present, Richland 2 Health History Form). (Again physicals must be from at least April 1st, 2022)
You do NOT need to include the Birth Certificate or $50 participation fee (this is for if they make the team later on)

Summer Conditioning is optional but it is a good time to get in shape for the upcoming season.
There will NOT be any equipment worn during the summer.
There will be football related drills conducted and conditioning.
This is an opportunity for the coaching staff to evaluate players who may be coming to tryouts August 16th through August 19th.
Summer Conditioning is NOT tryouts. Just because you attend in the summer does not guarantee you a spot on the team in the fall and vice versa.
Summer Conditioning and Tryouts are closed to the public. We respectfully ask that parents not come on the field to watch but you can observe from your vehicle.
