Dear 8th Grade Parents/Guardians:
We are planning a field study for our eighth graders to their zoned high schools. As one of our SIC(School Improvement Council) goals, we want to provide our 8th graders with a “being there” experience at the high school that they will attend in the Fall. The students will meet with student leaders, club sponsors, athletes, and Lead Teachers who will facilitate a question/answer panel. We are excited about this wonderful opportunity. There is NO COST for the trip. We will leave Blythewood Middle School at 9:30am and return at approximately 12:00pm. Students will not need money for a meal because we will be back in time for lunch at Blythewood Middle School.
The trip to Westwood High School is scheduled for Tuesday, April 25, 2017, and Spring Valley High School is scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2017. Blythewood High School and Ridge View High School have already had their tours.
