Waffle-Iron Apples

an apple; slice into 1â„4-in.- thick pieces. Brush both sides with a little
melted butter. Preheat a waffle iron on low-heat setting. Place 2 apple slices
on grid, close lid, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
Repeat with remaining apple slices.
