Volleyball Tryouts

August 3rd and 4th 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Conditioning and Tryouts are open to rising seventh and eighth grade students.  Students must have a completed Athletics Packet on file, as well, as a 2.0 grade point average for the fourth quarter of the 2015-2016 school year, as well as being promoted to the next grade.  Athletic Packets are available at the BMS website and in the Receptionist Area. Completed forms may be returned to the main office during the summer or on the first day of tryouts.

There will not be a Volleyball Clinic in July.

Early Dismissal Thursday and Friday

Thursday, June 4th and Friday, June 5th are early dismissal days.

BMS will dismiss at 10:45AM

There is NO Charger Pride.  

If you are a car rider please have your ride here on time.

8th Grade Promotion

 If you plan to attend the 8^th grade 

promotion ceremony tomorrow 

morning at 8:30AM we ask that 

you please enter through the 

gymnasium only.  If you plan to 

access any other areas of the school 

after the promotion ceremony then 

you must sign in at the reception desk.  

If you are taking siblings with you after

 8^thgrade promotion you must sign 

them out if they have previously 

checked into homeroom.

Medication Reminder

Medications are not kept in the Health Room over the summer.  All medications not picked up from the Health Room after dismissal time on Friday, June 5th will be discarded.  We cannot give controlled substances such as Ritalin, Adderall, etc. to students to take home.  The parent or guardian must pick up these medications.  Over the counter medications (such as Tylenol) and inhalers can be transported home by students.

Mr. Gunter & BMS Soccer

Congratulations to BMS Soccer Coach, Stephen Gunter, and the BMS Soccer players.  They assisted Richland County Rec. Centers and the Marcus Lattimore Foundation this past Sunday at "Sunday Fun-day" teaching soccer drills.  Special thanks to Mr. Taurus Lewis of Richland County Parks and Recreation for thinking of BMS and allowing us to assist with this - what an honor!

 

8th Grade Cookout

8th grade students will have 

a grade level cookout on 

Wednesday, June 3, 2015.  

Students will not need to purchase a

 lunch from the Cafe' on Wednesday.

The cookout is for current BMS 8th grade students only.

BMS has a couple of yearbooks left for sale.  

Yearbooks are $42.00 and on a first come basis. Please see Mrs. Turner in the Media Center if you would like to purchase one.

Lost & Found

Lost and Found Reminder

The end of school is nearing and we have a huge collection of Lost and Found items.  We would love to see some of these items claimed.  Items such as; jewelry and eyeglasses are sent to the Main Office to be stored in a secure place.  All other Lost and Found items are kept in the Cafe'.
