BMS Yearbook Information...
As we settle into 2021, now is a great time to purchase our Blythewood Middle School yearbook! They are available for purchase on Parent Portal for $45! As always, we encourage you to submit pictures through the Yearbook Snap app. It is so easy and fun to do! Just add the app to your phone, search for Blythewood Middle School, and use the password "chargers" to gain access. We would love to see pictures from Winter break and also any candids you'd like to share. Thanks in advance for your help! (When adding pictures, you can choose a category or feel free to just submit under "other")
Q3 Interim 1 Available Today...
Our first interim report for the third quarter is available for viewing today, Wednesday, February 24th.
Please be reminded that our first interim report for the 2020-2021 school year was mailed home as a paper copy. Parents are reminded that all other interim reports at Blythewood Middle School will be accessible via Parent Portal (paper copies will not be printed).
If you have an Active Parent Portal account you may check your child’s grades each week. When you log into your account, the grades will automatically appear on the screen. There is not a “report” tab to click on in Parent Portal.
It is important to monitor your child’s grades through Parent Portal before report cards are issued. If you note that grades are not being updated regularly, please contact the appropriate grade-level administrator, school counselor or Mrs. Mazyck.

School Pick Pick-Up from December...
Important Information...
Greetings Charger Families,
We hope that you and your family have a safe and enjoyable Valentine's Day weekend. As a reminder, we need your assistance. Flowers, balloons, and other such special event gifts will not be accepted by our school office for delivery to any student.
Please arrange to have these gifts sent to the student’s home, especially since Valentine's Day falls on the weekend this year. Our office staff is limited and we do not want to interrupt instruction.
Please also be reminded that students should not bring in Valentine's Day gifts for exchange among their peers, this causes a distraction and disruption to our school day. Additionally, with the COVID-19 pandemic, sharing of items such as this is not permitted.
Finally, please note that Monday, February 15th is a regular school day. We do not have President's Day off.

Have you purchased your copy of the 2020-21 BMS yearbook? Don't miss out on this year's unique yearbook. Yearbooks can be purchased through Parent Portal. The cost of the yearbook is $45. We have a limited supply. Purchase your copy before we run out!
For the next few weeks, the yearbook staff will be issuing a weekly challenge. This week's challenge is "Masked Up" Send us a picture of your student in his/her favorite mask. These pictures will be included in the yearbook! Please email your pictures to cbrown@richland2.org.
In addition, if you ordered school pictures from Strawbridge they are available for pick-up from the reception area Monday - Thursday from 8:00 - 2:00 p.m. As a kind reminder, make-up picture day is Monday, February 8th during the school day for Hybrid learners and 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. for the eLearners. No appointment is necessary. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Carter.
