BMS PSAT Information...
Dear 8th Grade Parents,
BMS will offer the PSAT to any 8th grader on October 13, 2021. The PTO is covering the cost of the test for any 8th grade student registered by September 13th. You can register by using this link: https://bit.ly/21PSATBMS . We will also host a PSAT Info night on September 7th at 6 pm in the Blythewood Middle School Cafeteria. COVID-19 Absences...
Greetings Charger Families,
As we continue to navigate the COVD-19 pandemic, we know that there may be times that students may need to be absent from school due to being in quarantine. Additionally, we ask that students remain home if they are experiencing any COVID symptoms until they are certain that the symptoms are not COVID-related. To this end, we want to ensure that our students are not falling behind during these types of absences. Each of your child's teachers will have "Quarantine Assignments/Lessons" posted in their Google Classroom. Please speak to your students about Google Classroom and how to find the "Quarantine Assignments/Lessons".
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

BMS Orchestra...
Hello BMS Families!
My name is Mrs. Carson Coomes, and I am the Orchestra Director at BMS. If your 6th or 7th grade child is interested in playing a musical instrument - like violin, viola, cello, or bass - but hasn't signed up yet, they can still enroll in Orchestra for the 2021-2022 school year! BMS Football Tryout Dates...
BMS Football Tryout Dates
Greetings Charger Families,
We are updating our BMS Football Tryout Information. Please see the information below with new information about dates and times.
Football tryouts will begin on August 2nd with final cuts occurring on August 20th. Tryouts are for rising seventh and eighth grade students.
August 2nd-6th (4:00pm-5:30pm)
August 9-12 (4:00 pm- 5:30 pm)
**First Cut will be on August 12th**
August 13th (4:00 pm-5:30 pm)
August 16th-17th (4:00pm-5:30pm)
August 18th, 19th, 20th (School begins so tryouts will begin after school and run approximately two hours. Time is still TBD)
*Final cut will be August 20th*
*Reminder that you must have turned in or turn in a physical packet (dated after April 1, 2021) and Richland Two Health History Form prior to participating.

Where: BMS Gym
Time: 4:00-5:30 pm
*Reminder that you must have a completed physical packet (dated after April 1, 2021) and a Richland 2 Health History form to participate.
*Come dressed to practice (shorts or spandex, t-shirt, socks, and athletic shoes)
