Job Shadow Day: Friday, February 04, 2022

In accordance with the School to Work Act,  Richland Two has designated Friday, February 04, 2022 as Job Shadowing Day for our middle school students.  You are invited to participate by taking your child to work or making arrangements for your child to visit a worksite. This also includes shadowing from home if working remotely.  

Your student’s absence from school on this date will be excused if the required form below is completed by the deadline indicated on the form(s).  

*Please note that due to Covid, Richland Two schools will NOT be hosting students.

Those participating in Job Shadow Day must adhere to DHEC’s COVID guidelines. 

Students who are not able to participate will attend school and follow their normal schedule. A virtual Job Shadow activity will be provided during Advisory classes.

New Year, New Leadership Opportunities...

 Leadership Roundup is an opportunity for youth leaders from diverse backgrounds to gather and take their leadership skills to the next level.  Students and parents will participate in hands-on student leadership sessions, engage in critical dialogue centered on personal excellence, establish, and maintain relationships with like-minded student leaders, and connect with professionals from higher education.  

 

Students will enjoy live music, a mini fashion show, receive lunch, a t-shirt, and more!
