College Planning

As part of a new Parent University Series on College & Career Readiness, Richland School District #2 offers free monthly webinars on the college planning process for parents and their high school students.  Statistics show that less than 9% of all students who enter a 4 year college both graduate in 4 years and do so without debt.  We believe timely information from industry professionals could dramatically move that needle.

College Success Formula is broadcasting nationally, so please register and if you can’t watch the live broadcast, you will have access to the recording for 30 days after each webinar.  Click on the following link to register for one or many.

Early dismissal tomorrow

PTO News: #‎prayforHunterE

Your support is needed at our Student vs Faculty Volleyball game being held Friday, September 25th at 1:30 PM.  Students can attend the volleyball game for $1.00.  During the match students will also be able to purchase strips of duct tape to use to tape our very own Principal, Mrs. Mazyck to the wall!  This is an opportunity they don't want to miss!  All proceeds from this event will go to benefit our beloved Mrs. Eisele's son, Hunter and his recovery.  Mrs. Eisele has been teaching at Blythewood Middle School for 20 years.  She is currently a member of the 7th Grade Science team.
This event is sponsored by the Blythewood PTO...

Information from Hunter's friends can be found on the blog they have started to share with you Hunter's dedication and devotion to his community, his recovery process, and what's struggles are ahead for him.  To read more of the blog please click here: Hunter's Recovery Blog

Below is a synopsis from Hunter's Blog posted by his friends:

As you know our beloved friend, co-worker, and hero Hunter was admitted to the hospital for a critical medical condition on August 31st. He continues to be cared for in the ICU. Hunter's dad, Bill Eisele, has posted several messages on Hunter’s Facebook page describing some of the circumstances surrounding the devastating and challenging complications that Hunter is facing.

Many have asked how they can help Hunter and his family. First and foremost, Hunter needs our prayers, positive thoughts and energy. He is fighting hard and will need all that we can send his way. Some have inquired about sending flowers or balloons, but unfortunately Hunter is not permitted these items while he is in the Intensive Care Unit.

How about we help Hunter offset his growing financial expenses due to his illness? Hunter is facing, and will continue to face for some time, both financial and medical challenges while he is out of work, unable to earn a living. Donations received will directly offset Hunter's medical and household expenses, so that he and his family can concentrate on his recovery and the long road ahead.

Hunter has been dedicated and devoted to serving our community throughout his life. He has served with honor and distinction with the Boy Scouts of America, Order of the Arrow, Lexington County Emergency Medical Services, Batesburg-Leesville Rescue Squad, Circle Volunteer Fire Department, Lexington County Sheriff's Department, Charleston County Emergency Medical Services, and many other civic and community organizations.

It would be a huge gesture of love and support by his community of friends and co-workers to lend a helping hand to someone who has so often taken care of us.

The family intends to establish a blog and once it is published, we will update this page with the link. I know that the family appreciates your love and support. We all pray for a full and speedy recovery. #‎prayforHunterE
