Report Cards/Summer Reading Information/Lost & Found Items...

Report Cards
Final report cards and end of the year award certificates have been mailed to students, so please be on the lookout for them in the upcoming days.
Summer Reading
Rising 7th & 8th grade students are encouraged to read over the summer. Our theme for this summer is perseverance. The document, on the link below, is to serve as a guide for different types of texts that students can read that are related to the theme of perseverance. However, students may also choose their own texts to read. Any activity that students choose to complete may either be submitted via a Google Form or may be submitted to their ELA teacher at the start of the school for an opportunity to participate in our summer reading celebration.
Lost & Found
Finally, lost and found items will be available for pickup on or before Thursday, June 18, 2020. After this date, all items will be donated to a local charity. The school will be open Monday - Thursday from 9am - 2pm. If you have any questions, please email your child's grade level administrator.

6th & 7th Grade Virtual Academic Award Ceremonies...
Greetings Charger Families,
We are ending the 2019-2020 school year by recognizing and celebrating our students. Due to state guidelines, our 6th-grade and 7th-grade awards ceremonies are being presented virtually. Our students have worked extremely hard all year, especially through this difficult time. BMS faculty and staff would like to thank our students for being committed and our parents for their unwavering support. Please join us in congratulating our 6th and 7th-grade students recognized for academic excellence and citizenship for the 2019-2020 school year. Award certificates will be mailed to recipients next week.

The Richland SWCD will solicit the public’s help in bestowing one final recognition: the 2020 People’s Choice Award. A selection of poster entries will be posted on the Richland SWCD’s Facebook page on Monday, June 1, and the public will be asked to “like” their favorite entries during the week of June 1. Voting will close at 11:59pm on Sunday, June 7. The poster with the most “likes” will be named “People’s Choice” and will receive an additional cash prize.

Drop-off:
Library books, textbooks (Algebra, Geometry, English I), Athletic uniforms (if you have not turned it in); books that belong to a teacher's classroom library, 8th ceiling tile (if eligible
Pick-up:
Contents of lockers (grade-level and gym); medication from the nurse's office; items that may have been left in a teacher's class (if it was found); yearbook (if one was purchased); Enrichment awards/trophies; Athletic awards/trophies
