Mrs. Greta Carter 
Mr. Robert “Rock” Ratterree

A message from Mrs. Greta Carter: 
Greetings Blythewood Family,

It is with pride and joy that I assume the role of Assistant Principal at Blythewood Middle School.  I have been a Charger since 2000 and I have loved every minute of it!

During my time at Blythewood Middle, I have served as a Reading, English /Language Arts teacher, Curriculum Specialist/ 7th grade Administrator and as the 2003-2004 Teacher of the Year.

I am looking forward to a FANTASTIC 2015-2016 school year.  If you are in the area this summer, please stop by and say hello.  Have a great summer!

Get to know Mr. Robert “Rock” Ratterree:


Mr. Ratterree is a proud father and community member of BlythewoodSC.  He has been in education for over 12 years.  “Rock” earned his Ed.S in Administration and Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, after receiving his Master of Education from the University of South Carolina and his Bachelor of Arts from Clemson University.  Mr. Ratterree is a champion for all students, encouraging and helping them to succeed in school, at home, and in life.  In his spare time, he enjoys riding horses with his daughter, laughing with friends, and enjoying the outdoors with his dogs
