Nine BMS Band Students will attend 2017 Region 3 Honor Band...

NINE BLYTHEWOOD MIDDLE BAND STUDENTS WILL ATTEND 2017 REGION 3 HONOR BAND

Congratulations to the following students for making the 2017 Region 3 Honor Band. Last year the band had five students selected, and this year we have nine. They will travel to Rock Hill on February 24-25 to participate in two days of rehearsals and a concert at Nation Ford High School. This is a true honor for these students to be selected considering our region has some of the best music programs in the state and some stiff competition!

Symphonic Band (This is the top ensemble):

Phoebe Fischer (8th grade) - 3rd chair flute

Enya Moyer (8th grade) - 17th chair clarinet

Christopher Gidney (7th grade) - 3rd chair french horn

Concert Band (This is the second ensemble):

Lindsay Branham (8th grade) - 2nd chair flute

Kayla Neiswonger (8th grade) - 2nd chair trumpet

Tanner Claghorn (8th grade) - 5th alternate trumpet

Brandon Evers (7th grade) - 2nd alternate euphonium

James Blackwell (8th grade) - 6th chair tuba

Luke Brown (8th grade) - 6th chair percussion
