Focus on Your Future Friday: City of Columbia Police Department
March 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. 

The Community Response Team at City of Columbia Police Department will present the Explorer Program for Youth, ages 14 -20 years of age, as well as career pathways.  This program is for students in middle and high school who are interested in learning more about a career in law enforcement, as well as parents and educators.
 
 
Midlands Technical College, School of STEM: Engineering Program Highlights
March 19, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 
 
This 2 hour event will provide students and educators with an introduction of engineering programs at Midlands Technical College, College of STEM to include Architectural, Civil, Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical as well as an overview of the admissions process.
 
 
 
Educator Lunch and Learn at Columbia International University 
March 24, 2021, 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.  In-person Event
 
Columbia International University’s School of Business & Professional Studies and College of Education invites all Career Specialists and School Counselors from the Midlands for a presentation, lunch, and tour of their beautiful 400-acre campus.

Focus on Your Future Friday: Careers in Construction with ABC Carolinas
March 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.

This program is for students, parents and educators with an interest in learning more about careers in the construction industry. Members from Associated Builders and Contractors, ABC Carolinas, will share their career pathways and discuss career topics to include industry workforce needs, career opportunities, employer expectations, and more through an expert panel discussion.
