ELA and Social Studies Curriculum Night & Testing Jamboree

Blythewood Middle School will be hosting an English/Language Arts and Social Studies Curriculum Night & Testing Jamboree on Thursday, April 14th.  Parents are invited to drop in with their child to each of the presentations that evening. Curriculum night will begin at 5:30 and conclude at 7:15. Both departments have worked to create a variety of sessions which will allow your student to share what they have been working on in their classrooms this year. Dinner will be provided for those who choose to attend.  In addition we will have door prizes such as bicycles, Chick-Fil-A gift cards, movie passes, Hi-Wire jump passes, GameStop, Footlocker and much more!  Please RSVP by clicking on the link below by Tuesday, April 12th if you plan to attend.

Also, in an effort to prepare parents and students for the new state standardized test, SC READY, there will be a Testing Jamboree held during each grade-level dinner session.

Finally, come out and meet former members of the 521 Negro All-Star League.  They will be here along with their traveling exhibit from the State Museum.  And, of course, you don’t want to miss Cocky, that’s right, we’re getting USC’s Cocky to cheer all of these award winning academics on!
Come out and join us.
