Character the Blythewood Way

Habit 6- Synergize
The Core Principle word we will be Spotlighting this week is Friendship.  Friendship describes the caring, affectionate, playful, and usually strong emotional bond we experience with an assortment of companions during various stages of our lives.  It is a relationship in which we can share who we are and who we want to become, our hopes and our fears

“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, ‘What! You too? I thought I was the only one.
– C.S. Lewis

“True friendship comes when the silence between two people is comfortable.” – David Tyson

Don’t make friends who are comfortable to be with. Make friends who will force you to lever yourself up.
– Thomas J. Watson
“Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.” — Oprah Winfrey
“A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.”  – Walter Winchell

“A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.”  – Unknown
